Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting H.M. Warden Art. Each order is prepared with care. Because the shop offers both original artwork and print-on-demand products, processing times, packaging, and delivery methods may vary by item.

Order Processing

Original artwork is typically prepared for shipment within 5–10 business days unless otherwise stated in the product description. This allows time for careful packaging and, when applicable, final drying, varnishing, framing, or documentation.

Print-on-demand products are made specifically for each customer after an order is placed. Production time varies depending on the product and fulfillment provider. Estimated production and delivery times may be displayed on the product page or during checkout.

Business days do not include weekends or holidays. During holidays, severe weather, special events, or periods of high order volume, processing and delivery may take longer.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Standard shipping is included in the listed price of original artwork and fine art prints. This applies to prints fulfilled by Art Direct as well as original artwork shipped by H.M. Warden Art, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Expedited delivery, international shipping, freight service, custom framing, oversized packaging, or other special handling may result in additional charges. If additional payment is required, the purchaser will be notified and asked to approve the cost before the order is shipped.

Delivery estimates begin after an order has been processed and, for made-to-order prints, produced. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.

H.M. Warden Art is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs processing, service interruptions, or other circumstances outside our control. If a time-sensitive delivery is needed, please contact us before ordering to determine whether it can reasonably be accommodated.

Original Artwork

Original artwork and its certificate of authenticity is packaged carefully to help protect it during transit. Tracking and shipping insurance will be included whenever reasonably available and appropriate for the item.

Large, unusually shaped, fragile, framed, or high-value artwork may require special handling, custom packaging, freight delivery, or additional shipping arrangements. If additional information or payment is required, the purchaser will be contacted before the artwork is shipped.

Print-on-Demand Products

Each fine art print is produced by Art Direct, a professional fine art printer specializing in gallery-quality reproductions. Prints are created as giclée fine art prints using archival-quality inks on museum-grade, acid-free matte fine art paper and are available in various sizes.

Art Direct also offers professional framing at a discounted rate when framing is purchased with an H.M. Warden Art print. Custom print sizing may be available upon request; please contact Art Direct before ordering to discuss the desired dimensions and availability.

Fine art prints are made to order, so production and delivery times may vary by size, framing selection, and destination. Prints and framed prints may ship separately from original artwork or other products in the same order. Separate tracking information may be provided for each shipment.

Tracking

When tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout after the order ships. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear in the carrier’s system.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and providing a safe location for delivery.

Shipping Address

Please review the shipping address carefully before submitting an order. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an address correction is needed, contact H.M. Warden Art as soon as possible. Changes cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered production or been shipped. Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, or unclaimed package may be the customer’s responsibility.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available for selected products and destinations. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping fee unless expressly stated during checkout.

Customs procedures may delay delivery. H.M. Warden Art cannot guarantee international delivery dates or alter customs documentation to avoid applicable charges.

Delayed, Lost, or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows that a package is still in transit beyond its estimated delivery window, please contact the carrier first and then notify H.M. Warden Art through the website’s Contact page.

If tracking shows a package as delivered but it cannot be located, please check the delivery area, household members, neighbors, property management, and the shipping carrier. H.M. Warden Art is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after the carrier confirms delivery, but reasonable assistance will be provided when possible.

Claims are subject to the shipping carrier’s and fulfillment provider’s rules, deadlines, and investigation procedures.

Damage During Shipping

Please inspect the order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, contact H.M. Warden Art within seven calendar days of delivery.

Include:

The order number
A description of the damage
Clear photographs of the damaged item
Photographs of the exterior and interior packaging
A photograph of the shipping label

Please retain the item and all original packaging until the claim is resolved. Depending on the circumstances and availability, an eligible damaged item may be replaced, repaired, refunded, or otherwise resolved. Original artworks are unique and may not be replaceable with an identical piece.

Damage claims submitted without sufficient photographs, after the reporting period, or after the original packaging has been discarded may not be eligible for resolution.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns, exchanges, and order cancellations are governed by the separate Return and Refund Policy. Shipping charges are nonrefundable unless required by law or the return results from an error by H.M. Warden Art or an approved damage claim.
